Product Introduction
The Vertical Compound Crusher is a type of screenless, adjustable fine-crushing equipment optimized based on advanced domestic and international crushing technologies.
It is widely used in the fine-crushing operation of raw materials and clinker in cement plants, as well as coal gangue, dolomite, lead-zinc ore, and blast furnace slag. It is also highly suitable for artificial sand making from medium-hardness materials like limestone, granite, and basalt.
Correction to traditional process: This machine typically functions as a tertiary crusher or pre-grinding equipment. It crushes materials to a fine size (≤5mm) before they enter the ball mill, significantly improving the grinding efficiency of the mill system.
Working Principle
Materials fall vertically into the high-speed rotating impeller from the upper feed opening. Under the action of high-speed centrifugal force, the material impacts against the surrounding lining and hammers.
The material is crushed by a combination of impact, grinding, and squeezing as it moves downwards through the vertical chamber. Since there is no screen grate at the bottom, the material is discharged directly once it passes through the rotor stages, ensuring high throughput and no clogging, even with high moisture content.

Overview of Advantages
- Screen-less Design (Anti-Clogging):
The most significant feature is the absence of a bottom grate/screen. This means it will not block when processing materials with high moisture or mud content, solving a common problem in traditional fine crushers. - High Reduction Ratio:
Capable of breaking down materials from ~100mm to ≤5mm in a single pass, achieving a very high crushing ratio. - Ideal Pre-Grinding Equipment:
By reducing material size to below 5mm before it enters the ball mill, it can increase the mill’s output by 30%-40% and reduce electricity consumption. - Adjustable Fineness:
The “CNC” aspect refers to the ability to adjust the discharge particle size easily to meet different production requirements. - Durable & Long Life:
The hammerheads are made of high-alloy wear-resistant materials, and the liner design creates a material layer that protects the machine body.
