Bucket Wheel Sand Washer

Product Introduction

The XSD wheel bucket type sand washer is a high-efficiency sand washing equipment designed to work in conjunction with sand making machines. It effectively washes away stone powder, dust, and other impurities mixed in the manufactured sand, thereby enhancing the quality of the final product.

As part of a sand washing machine series, the XSD washer is the ideal product for upgrading the domestic sand and gravel industry.

Working Principle

The electric motor drives the impeller (wheel) to rotate slowly via the V-belt and reducer. The sand and gravel, fed from the inlet, tumble into the washing trough and are scooped up by the buckets on the wheel. As the wheel rotates, the sand is lifted and agitated within the water, allowing the water to wash away impurities and fine dust.

The clean, dewatered sand is then carried by the buckets over the top and discharged onto the outlet conveyor. The wastewater and impurities flow out from the overflow weir, completing the cleaning process.
