Product Introduction
The LF Series Euro Impact Crusher is a kind of high-efficiency and energy-saving crushing equipment designed for secondary and tertiary crushing. It can process a wide variety of materials, including limestone, slag, coke, coal, and other minerals with a compressive strength not exceeding 350Mpa.
This machine is widely used for producing high-quality aggregate for highways, water and electricity projects, and artificial sand. It is also an ideal solution for construction material waste treatment and recycling. Its design, featuring a heavy-duty rotor and optimized crushing chamber, ensures a large crushing ratio and an excellent, uniform final product shape.
Working Principle
The Euro Impact Crusher is a horizontal shaft impactor (HSI). Material is fed into the crushing chamber and meets the high-speed rotating blow bars (hammers). The material is shattered by this powerful initial impact and is then thrown against the impact plates (liners) lining the chamber.
This causes a secondary crushing effect. The material bounces back and forth between the rotating blow bars and the impact plates, breaking apart along its natural fissures. This impact-based crushing is what creates the highly sought-after cubical particle shape. The material is discharged from the bottom once it reaches the desired size, which can be controlled by adjusting the gap between the rotor and the impact plates.
