Product Introduction
The PCZ series heavy hammer crusher is a new, advanced type of stone crusher developed based on the PC series. It is specifically designed to revolutionize the crushing process by enabling “one-step crushing”.
Unlike traditional multi-stage crushing circuits (Jaw Crusher -> Impact Crusher), the PCZ Heavy Hammer Crusher can accept massive raw stones (up to 1800mm) and reduce them to finished aggregate sizes in a single pass. This eliminates the need for a primary jaw crusher in many limestone applications, significantly reducing plant investment and operating costs. It is the dominant equipment in the medium-soft material crushing field.
Working Principle
The massive rotor, driven by the motor, rotates at high speed. The rotor is equipped with heavy-duty, high-chromium hammers. When large stones enter the crushing chamber, they are immediately impacted by the high-speed hammers.
The stone gains immense kinetic energy and is thrown against the impact plates inside the chamber for secondary crushing. The material bounces back and forth between the hammers and liners until it is crushed to the desired size and discharged from the bottom. The large hammer pin diameter, heavy hammer weight, and high linear speed ensure exceptional impact force.

The most significant advantage. It combines the functions of primary and secondary crushing. Feeding large rocks and outputting finished aggregates simplifies the process flow and saves 40% of the cost compared to traditional lines. - Massive Feeding Size & Capacity:
With a feeding inlet up to 1800mm and a capacity reaching 6000 t/h (for the largest model), it is a beast of production, suitable for large-scale quarries. - High Crushing Ratio:
The heavy rotor and hammers provide a massive reduction ratio, turning boulders into gravel efficiently. - Low Wear & Maintenance:
By reducing the number of machines in the line (removing the Jaw Crusher), overall maintenance and wear part consumption for the entire plant are lowered. - Excellent Particle Shape:
Like other impact-style crushers, it produces a high-quality, cubical product shape desirable for concrete and asphalt.
