Product Introduction

A hammer crusher is a device that crushes materials by impact. It comes in two types: single-rotor (single-shaft) and dual-rotor (dual-shaft) models. The single-rotor type is further divided into reversible and irreversible types.

It is primarily used for crushing medium and brittle materials in industries such as cement, chemicals, electric power, and metallurgy.

Working Principle

The PC Hammer Crusher operates on the principle of high-speed impact. Material is fed into the crushing chamber and is immediately struck by the rotating hammer heads which are attached to a high-speed rotor. The material is shattered by this initial impact and is then thrown against a liner plate (breaker plate) inside the housing, causing further reduction. The material remains in the chamber, continuously struck by the hammers, until it is fine enough to pass through the grate bar openings at the bottom.
