Product Introduction
The XL Spiral Sand Washer is a specialized machine designed for washing, grading, and removing impurities and dust from sand and stone. Its unique sealing structure, adjustable overflow weir plate, and reliable transmission device ensure effective cleaning and dehydration.
It is widely used in industries such as highways, hydropower, construction, and building materials. The machine is available in two main configurations: Single Screw (Helix) and Double Screw (Helix), allowing customers to choose based on their capacity requirements.
Working Principle
The machine relies on the principle of different sedimentation speeds of solid particles in liquid due to varying sizes and densities.
- Sedimentation: The mixture of sand and water enters the cleaning tank. Fine dust and light impurities float and flow over the adjustable overflow weir to be discharged.
- Conveying & Scrubbing: The coarse sand sinks to the bottom. The slowly rotating spiral screw (auger) stirs the sand, scrubbing away soil and impurities, and pushes the clean sand gradually towards the discharge outlet at the top end.
- Dewatering: As the sand is pushed up above the water line, excess water drains back into the tank, completing the washing and dewatering process.
